The Lord Nelson is a cosy traditional pub hidden away off Wood Street with no TVs or gimmicks, just a great atmosphere and delicious home cooked food.

The Refectory, now a public house, was opened February 1916, and is thought to by some to be the first ever restaurant to have its kitchens entirely powered with electricity.
