Booked us in a cancelled slot for Sunday lunch and warned us of an hour time limit. Worked their butt's off to get us seated, dined and have a good experience. Well done team and best service we have had. Wish every place could get us sorted that quick! 😂
Booked for 14 of us for boxing day carvery. Everything was just perfect. Staff very pleasant, carvery hot and lots of choice. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be booking for next year.
We visited here as we were staying at a nearby B&B, this came highly recommended by the owner. We were not disappointed, I had the chicken, ham and leek pie with peas and chips and it was delicious!!! My partner has the camembert, all delicious!! The pub has a real old charm to it with large fireplace and very friendly staff, definitely worth a visit !!
We recently had the pleasure of a wonderful weekend stay at this most welcoming country pub. The atmospheric family room that we had was lovely, with all the amenities you could ask for. The food and drink were excellent, and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We will certainly be returning when next in the area. A big thank you to the busy hands-on owners who have a business that you can be very proud of.
Stopped off for a quick pint, the log burner fire burning warm and a warm greeting from the bar person. Cask ale on pull made my day and a good pint of an IPA was amazing. The pub was quite and welcoming with the smell of beautiful food in a backroom very good. So we stayed at the inn over a weekend in a standard room and ate in the restaurant on the night time, as a B&B somewhere to dump your stuff ,shower and sleep it was good. The standard room is very small and in the eaves with sloping ceiling (see photo). The food here is amazing, very tasty and generous portions.

The Admiral Rodney dates from 1847 and is a traditional stone and slate country pub. It is set in a lovely location at the base of 1000 feet high Criggion Hill, with footpath and walks to Rodneys Pillar. We are popular with walkers and cyclists.

A truly family-run pub; how many pubs are now in the same family after three generations and 99 years! Jane and Peter have taken on this family heirloom from Jane's mother, Megan Hughes.
