Make your way past the unattractive, shuttered exterior of this snooker and gaming complex, through the cacophony of slot machines and neon lights and head upstairs and you come to a surprisingly attractive bar, which is open to all.
Two separate seating areas, consist of scrubbed pine tables and sturdy wooden chairs from which you can watch the array of sports TVs or if architecture is more your thing, why not look up at the impressive ironwork girders, supporting the roof.No real ale, but the snooker, pool and casino games can keep you entertained. May stay open later Friday and Saturday night.
Hmm, no children allowed, be aware if you want to visit with children under 18.
Fantastic venue, can’t fault the staff, the beer, the tables, the atmosphere, however if you have the misfortune to be ‘served’ by Jasmine you will realise why I am unable to give five stars. I’ve genuinely never ever met a bartender so devoid of charm, warmth, or even plain manners. Putting it kindly id say that her demeanour/body language is constantly verging on rude, but the worst thing is I can tell that she would actually like to be ruder than she is, but has managed to find the fine line which she is currently walking. Don’t waste your time with this miserable individual, because your niceties will most certainly not be reciprocated.
We had a lovely couple of hours of fun,Colin talked me into it but would go again thoroughly enjoyed it 👍👍👍
Staff were friendly but they need a better system for pool. I just wanted a game or maybe two and next I'm being told they need a deposit and charge by the hour?? Baffled me. Who even carries cash in 2020 anymore!?
Use to love the place. Now they want £5 deposit to use a cue to play pool. Then they won't give you chalk you have to pay another .30p. BS!
