We are excited to extend a warm invitation to you as we embark on a meaningful journey at Willie Wastle's Sports Bar, rallying together to support the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation in their unwavering quest to find a cure for Motor Neurons Disease (MND). This special initiative is inspired by the incredible Doddie Weir, a legendary rugby player and the driving force behind the foundation.
Doddie Weir, a towering figure in the world of rugby, founded the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation to channel his indomitable spirit and relentless optimism into a cause greater than himself. Diagnosed with MND in 2017, Doddie has become a beacon of hope, resilience, and determination, dedicating his efforts to raise awareness and funds to advance research towards finding a cure for this devastating disease. The foundation has raised over £8 million for MND Research by the time of Doddie's death. The Six Nations Doddie Weir Cup is named after him. Doddie lost his battle with MND on the 26th November 2022.
At Willie Wastle's, we are honoured to play a part in supporting Doddie's mission. Our sports bar, known for its vibrant atmosphere and community spirit, is rallying our patrons, friends, and neighbours for the Guinness Six Nations to join forces in the name of camaraderie and purpose. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by MND, standing shoulder to shoulder with Doddie Weir and the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

Food is really tasty, plenty of options too. Kids menu is the normal nuggets etc, would have been nice to see a little more variety. Not too expensive, and in a good location.
What a bar from the outside this place is very deceiving however when you get inside the place is massive, it's very clean and well presented with good service nice atmosphere and reasonable prices I will definitely return and would definitely recommend.👍
Great service from our server, kids catered for & had a decent meal whilst watching the football.
Great food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff. Much better than it was when last visited a good few years ago. Definitely recommend!
Really good food, woman who served us was excellent. Very knowledgeable about ingredients in all dishes and which ones were gluten free, never once said she didn’t know, she would need to check which was very refreshing. Really quick service and prices were good too. Will definitely return and recommend to others.
