Inside the Victorian green tiling and tinted windows under hanging flower baskets lies a true local pub. Plenty of seating surrounds an island bar where quality drinks are served by some damn fine bartenders. The Wick attracts a lively crowd and the atmosphere never fails to deliver.
You'll be grateful for the authentic Thai food menu after a couple of drinks as you realise that you don't need to head right into town to eat! The thai kitchen is open Mon-Sat 12-3 and 5-10 and a new Sunday roast that is quickly becoming the talk of the town.
Perfectly situated just within earshot of Palmeira and only a short hike from the seafront, The Wick offers not only a first class selection of ales, lagers and wines but free WiFi, a little outside seating and an array of events including the best pub quiz this side of France.

Great Thai food, and a brilliant quiz on a Tuesday night, I'd go so far as to say the best in Brighton on that day. Pub atmosphere downstairs is also quite nice, always busy and good music playing.
Superb vibes, good beers and the poker nights on Thursdays are always fun!
Popped in for a beer and decided to try the Thai food. A bottle of wine and a few starters later, very satisfied. Food is superb - we'll be back as soon as we can.
So good that we came two days in a row! The food is delicious and very affordable between 12-3pm. Fantastic Thai food!
Great place for any evening, whether it is to have a drink and a catch up with a friend(s) or to also have some Thai Food. Staff always friendly and kin to help you choose what beer from the tap you should order if you are one of those people like me who wants to try something new but also not to be disappointed. Thai Food is presented beautifully and couldn't fault the taste. Only downside is how loud is the music. Have been going there a few times to catch up with friends on a weekday after work but struggled to follow conversations.
