We’re an iconic Victorian family-friendly pub dating back to 1861, and a mainstay for the villagers of Woodham and beyond. Conveniently located close to Woking and West Byfleet stations, we’re easily accessible from the M25 and close to local attractions such as Brooklands Museum, Wisley Gardens, the Basingstoke Canal and a range of 5-star golf courses.
Having just undertaken a much-needed facelift, The Victoria re-opened under new management in December 2020. Our interior has been completely transformed to reveal a stunning new design that oozes with authentic character and charm, whilst retaining and celebrating many of our original features. We’ve definitely put a smile back on The Victoria’s face, creating a homely, warm atmosphere where you can relax in style and while away the hours with friends and family.
Inside you can dine in our large and spacious dining room, or grab a bite in the bar as you see fit; four-legged friends are welcome here too. Plus, bask on our ample terrace for sundowner drinks and alfresco dining, complete with rugs for those that wish to snuggle up. We also have a private dining area should you need an area all to yourself, or a room to hold a meeting.
Open all day, every day, the menu at The Victoria will feature all your favourite pub classics and legendary Sunday roasts, alongside more fine dining options and an extended grill section. Taking advantage of the local area’s abundance of great suppliers, the seasonally inspired menu will be bursting with freshly prepared dishes and seasonal specials guaranteed to tempt you.

Overall a very good evening. Family of 10 and the food was good. Service also good. Good atmosphere and busy kinda buzz for a Thursday.
Great pub . First visit with friends. Very busy for Sunday lunch, however this did not affect the great service and superb food. Will be back 🍻👍
Really nice pub, well catered and good selection of drinks on offer. It is massive and I think would be really buzzing when full. No fault of the pub but at 12 on a Sunday I think it was just gearing up! Roast was great!
Since this pub was refurbished it has become a local gem! Christina is certainly a wonderful asset - always gives a friendly welcome, matched with a beaming smile and pleasant chat... Food, service and surroundings are all fantastic, plus the garden is great during the summer months - particularly as they're dog friendly! 🐶🐾 Well Done The Victoria, keep it up... 👌👏
Very warm welcome by front of house and seated swiftly. Drinks soon followed and then our lunch. Very polite and friendly staff, amazing food and great beer selection. I had the pan fried sea bass and my lady had the pork tomahawk, both cooked to perfection. They also cater for vegans as well as allergic patrons.
