We are a Cask Marque accredited pub. Everard's Tiger is our regular ale. We also have a weekly guest ale and Rosie Pig's cider on cask. We have craft ales available and Gluton free cider(Wyld Wood).
Daily offers available, ask staff for detail's. Bagatelle is a very popular pub game around Chester with the only league in the world. And it's FREE! Friendly, super, smashin, great local cosy pub and community hub, Egerton Street, round the corner from The Mill Hotel & Spa, Milton Street.
We stayed just a few doors down from the Union Vaults during our 2 month holiday around the Uk. This pub has the best atmosphere, bar staff (Brenda ?) and the locals that made us feel like family. A special thanks to Ff’en and his mates that played Bagatelle and sang to us. The 4 Ozzie’s that sat in the corner, thanks guys. See you again one day. Keep up the singing. Cheers

Excellent corner pub, with a interesting bar billiards table, plenty of bench seating in this split level pub, only a single ale available, but good enough.
Very traditional basic back street local. Only been here once before on way to railway station. Ic had a pint of Taylor's Landlord. £3.90. Fullers London Pride not on. The pub has an up to date Cask Marque as March 2023. Has a bagatelle table the like of which I have never seen before..no mushrooms and balls settle in the holes rather than drop. Apparently there is a league in Chester.

This is a proper old city of London boozer, only in Chester, that has a really good reputation for its food - it's a great meeting place over a pub lunch, and at different times you'll find half the commercial and professional heart of the city in there.
