Pub is on the main road through Shirenewton, with it's own car park opposite. An extensive refurbishment resulted in it becoming more of a restaurant with a bar, but with a wide-ranging and interesting menu. Friendly and welcoming, booking is advisable for meals.
Fantastic food, really nice selection of interesting specials and all the classics as well. Service was great and relaxed.
Lovely food Will be back Service was very good Waiters very accommodating. Was quite when we were there so can't really say about atmosphere. The only thing I would like would be for plates to be a lot warmer Apart from that a nice evening was had
Very nice place. Very nice manager who chatted with us after dinner. Well worth a visit.
Great aesthetics and warm friendly staff. I ordered a set meal for one to take away, which was extremely well presented for a take out, and tasted great. Not to mention there was enough food for two!
Keen to support a new local business. Booked a table for Saturday 7pm. Service very poor and inattentive. Drinks order was ok, but had to call them to the table after 30 minutes to take food order. Popadoms took an hour to arrive and that was after prompting. Main meal took over 2 hours to arrive, after much prompting. One meal good, two were poor and some of the meat in the mixed grill was inedible. The poor ladies on the table next to us, we’re still waiting for their mains, when we left which was over 2 and a half hours.
