About us

The Three Horseshoes is owned and run by Ashley Haworth who has been at the helm for over twenty years and keeps it updated, the menu interesting and retains the historical and cosy vibe of its past.

Our kitchen is run by head chef Alex Parret who creates seasonal menus of delicious gastro-pub style dishes as well as classics such as fish and chips. There is also a welcoming beer garden ideal for soaking up the sunshine with beach huts that can seat 8, with a table, heater and lighting and they can be booked out for al fresco dining with beautiful views. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the bar area, beer gardens and the beach huts.

If I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would. As you approach it is a very unassuming pub/restaurant in the middle of a bunch of houses, but once you are through the door the atmosphere hits you and it is a busy bustling friendly inn. The Sunday lunch was the best ever and the rhubarb and apple crumble was just as good. Loads of staff and the service was just right. I highly recommend a visit.

We have enjoyed two fabulous meals at the Three Horse Shoes, Friday night and Sunday lunch, both were delicious and can thoroughly recommend this fabulous pub tucked away in Groesffordd. Only remembered photos of Sunday before we cleared our plates. Dog friendly too

A perfect balance between fine dining and good hearty food! Very comfortable vibes, cold drinks and food was outstanding. We went here after climbing the Fan and felt well rewarded. Definitely coming back!

The food was simply excellent. I was not expecting to find a place like this in such a remote location. if you're in the area and hungry, just give them a visit

Food was lovely, can’t fault this, On entry server behind bar with the ponytail did not even acknowledge us, admittedly he was serving but a smile and hello would have been no problem I’m sure. Had to ask twice for table water and had to ask for a steak knife! Overall was nice for a special occasion. Forgot to take a photo of starters. No parking. Could be tricky if mobility is bad. Beautiful views.
