About us

The Sun Inn is Beverley’s premier live music destination with big bands every weekend and acoustic and open mic nights during the week.

Our traditional venue dates from approximately 1530 is widely regarded as the oldest pub in Beverley. Our traditional oak beams with cosy nook reflect the age of the premises, but don’t worry – we also have modern features like a heated garden and fast wifi.

Our Landlords, Paul and Del welcome new visitors to the town as well as our very many regulars.

This pub is a gem of a place. Especially to anyone who loves music. Here's my review of this pub from a musician point of view. Played here on the first weekend of January and it was rockin'. The bar staff are super friendly the guys that run the place are awsome very present and make you feel welcome and looked after. I just love this pub and its patrons! w w . TheMightyOaks. Co . U k

Oldest pub in Beverley I believe. Great character. Nice pint of Black Sheep bitter. Friendly landlord. Right next to The Minster. Love it.

The sun in is reputedly the oldest pub in Beverley dating back to the 1500's. Standing in the shadow of Beverly minster this great pub has an excellent range of cask conditioned real ale. This unspoiled pub has nice outside seating in the rear courtyard. Live music every weekend. The pub hosts the Beverley blues festival each summer. There's an open mic night every Tuesday and often live music on a Sunday afternoon. The sun inn is a great community pub. Highly recommended.
