All rooms are well decorated with comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities and flat-screen TV's. Some rooms are en-suite and some are available with shared bathrooms. There is a shared kitchen with breakfast making facilities. The Station is perfectly situated for day trips by train to London. There is also good access to the M25 and M3, and London Heathrow is only 15km away. Brooklands Museum, Mercedes Benz World and the pretty town of Weybridge are 10 minutes by car. Enjoy many other local attractions such as Thorpe Park, Wisley Gardens and Windsor Park. The Station is also situated perfectly for visits to the famous '3 W's Golf Clubs' - Woking Golf Club, West Hill Golf Club and Worplesdon Golf Club.
Didn't stay at the hotel but went in for a meal. Excellent service. Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. Regular menu plus specials. Always good, hot food. Usually busy but you never have to wait for long to eat.
Stayed here a couple of weeks ago for one night The room was clean and pleasant and a good selection for the self serve breakfast. The location was good near the station and I had an evening meal which was nice as well.
affordable. but the lady behind the bar made us never wanna come back. the window in the room didn’t open so it was a little toasty. also they told us we could use the kitchen and amenities but the door was locked when we woke up in the morning. then, consequential to checkout we were waiting on a taxi outside their front door, and the staff made us feel very uncomfortable like we were a burden.
This is good budget accommodation in an area where most other options are quite expensive. I arrived about 10pm, so quite late, but that wasn't a problem as the pub was open until 11pm. The kitchen was closed, but the host kindly pointed out that the takeaway pizza shop opposite was still open, and she let me eat my pizza in the bar. The room was fine, and there was a 'serve yourself' selection of cereals and toast available for breakfast. location was handy for Mercedes-Benz world, where I was attending a conference the next day.
The real factor that made this stand out was the effort that busy staff made to make the customer welcome. Room was clean, comfortable and had a very good electric shower. Heating in the room didn't function but on a fairly mild night, not a problem. Overall excellent value.
