Took my partner for a meal tonight and it was just awful. Greasy onion rings, burnt and dry lasagne and I asked if the pie was puff pastry and it was short. Bread and oils nice and garlic bread and atmosphere nice but food very disappointing. Didn’t eat it but was charged for everything apart from the lasagne so £50 wasted and had to come home and have a sandwich.
Delicious pub lunch! We had a pint and chicken and mushroom pie. Delicious pies, proper chips. Staff was friendly and attentive. Beautiful interior and clean bathrooms. Definitely recommend!
Lovely pub, with a great range of food and drinks. Booked a large table and preordered, which was no issue at all, however when we were receiving the food there were multiple issues - delayed meals, incorrect meals, uncooked meals. Not certain what was going on in the kitchen but it wasn't good. The waiting staff were amazing however, very attentive and made the experience a lot better than it could have been. Will definitely visit again as truly believe it was a bad day in what looks to be a great venue.
Delicious traditional Sunday lunch. Lovely atmosphere. You can tell it's a popular and well loved place to meet friends.Hotel bedroom was small but perfectly formed and the bed was soooo comfy! Breakfast was great and staff throughout our stay went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Sunday night was quiz night. Brilliant fun and well run. And every table got a pizza to share! What's not to love about that eh.
Beautiful place to eat. Very lovely location although parking is a little difficult. Very friendly place and the staff are great. The menu is very good and responsibly priced. The entrances are good but may be a little difficult for wheelchairs. There are a few steps at one well as to access the restaurant seating. There is an additional entrance straight into the seating area. The staff are very welcoming and eager to help. Wonderful food at a great price.
