The pub was very warm but it has a nice atmosphere and great music being played, not too loudly. Didn't order food so cannot comment on it, but it is reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and tidy but the menu was dirty and the toilets, while we'll equipped, could definitely have been cleaner (see pics). Entrance is wheelchair friendly. No car park that I could see and double yellow lines immediately outside the pub, but you can park across the road. Ordered a coffee £2.40 which was good but only small.
Just nipped in after a walk down the valley. Friendly staff who made us feel very welcome inculding the dog. Unfortunately we didn't eat on this occasion however the food looked great, we will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks. x
Lovely welcoming pub, staff were very accommodating and helpful, food was fantastic will definitely be returning, and would highly recommend, the rag pudding is a must 😀
We booked a table of 8, as soon as we entered the pub we left instantly unwelcome. A brunette lady told us that it is under new management and that they haven’t received a booking. The pub was empty but she made it clear that they did not want to serve us. We did sit down… but not for long as the Atmosphere was dreadful. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
So welcoming, the new owners are really friendly and it feels really cosy. The food is really nice and fresh and sooo reasonable. This is definitely my new favourite pub. Well done Kerry and Andy for making this such a great place to come.
