The Sportsmans Arms is located in the area of Tranmere. It has a great community spirit and locals who are loyal to the pub. It has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and is family friendly. We have a Fantastic Menu, available from noon to 9pm; Monday to Sunday, with weekday menu offers such as a grill day, a pie day and a classics day.
SKY Sports is also shown daily on our 10 TV's covering all major sporting events.
We liaise with a lot of charities, such as Clatterbridge teenage Cancer Trust and Claire House. We have charity events with a DJ, race nights, raffles, family fun-days and live Entertainment.

Had a lovely pint of Guinness, and some food (burger & chips) very good quality, really enjoyed it. Very reasonable prices too 👍 update:18th August 2023, this pub no longer serves food. Still a nice place and decent prices.
Great pub , great atmosphere under the management all staff very freindly and welcoming. Entertainment great and weekend and Bingo fun on a Tues.

the place was really nice. the locals was also welcoming showing me where the dining area is. my children enjoyed their meal there. we had the fish and chips full works whilst the missus had a delicious sundae. will come again.
Nice little place ice cold beer polite staff , but this was my main meal now to say I was disappointed was an understatement this was it before I started. Needless to say I had to go home and make myself something to eat , wouldn't have filled me kids up won't be ordering food here again ..
