The pub has two main trading areas: the main bar and the pub’s restaurant space. The kitchen can cater for up to 40 covers throughout. The Spittal Brook is Cask Marque accredited and free WiFi is provided throughout. The pub also offers 3 letting rooms. Outside, the pleasant beer garden to the side and rear of the pub is a great place to enjoy a pint during the summer months. There’s also a smoking solution and parking for up to 14 vehicles.
The pub has just had a full refurb internally and externally and is located at the end of a cul-de-sac just off the main A34 road into Stafford. Situated on the southern outskirts of the town, but within walking distance of the centre.

Loving the live music, relaxed atmosphere and ale 👌
Was going to eat but as we had a dog we had to sit in the tap room part which didn't look as nice. There was a football game on which people were watching and we didn't feel comfortable eating in this side. Good location though.
Spent two nights as visiting family. Our normal place was full. The pub is great and so is the food and service. The room was compact, to say the least. Next to the main railway line, it shook as high speed trains thundered past. The shower room is lacking in a few aspects, and the shower was a real conundrum. The room is way overpriced for its quality and situation. Would highly recommend the pub, but avoid the rooms.
Lovely little traditional pub serving craft ales, good atmosphere and friendly staff, not tried the food here but will definitely try some in the future, well worth a visit
Such a busy pub. The food was beautiful (definitely compliments to the chef) and after a really long busy day I was able to have a pub meal and drink up in my room. The bathroom was a little small but I was only there for 1 night, the room was pleasantly decorated and loved the selection of biscuits left for the morning. Only complaint was that the room was right next to train track, there was an artist on in the evening so it was really noisy. The bed was a little hard but I slept well and even though the radiator was on full it was a little chilly. The owners are absolutely amazing lovely people. Helped me get to the train station after taxi companies refused due to the Stafford half marathon. I really cannot fault them. Thank you again Becky and Mark. Will definitely look to stay again.
