Situated on the west side of the river, towards the sea from the harbour bridge. Small Grade II listed pub with a big heart succeeding in packing an awful lot into a very small space. There's a bar with three hand pumps, a pool table plus a juke box, and a comfortable lounge with views of the harbour.
No food purchased, just a few beverages. The cider and the beer, along with the atmosphere and service were great x
Well kept ales. Dog friendly with two very friendly and helpful barmaids. Sit at the window or outside and watch the world go by. Cracking little pub.
cracking little pub. very friendly, helpful staff. prices are not too bad either.
Nice relaxing chilled atmosphere after a long day walking around this lovely area. I didn't have any food just two drinks, sitting in front of the window watching the world go by. Two entrances, two areas of seating, pet friendly. Card accepted, but cash is preferred which is fine, as card charges taking away profits. Nice venue, will drop in again for a full session.
Very quiet, choice of three cask ales on and the usual keg beers. Not a bad pub by any means just went on the wrong day.
