We stayed at the inn four nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The hardest part about staying here was leaving. Delicious food, wonderful people, especially Doody and Peter, great service, excellent local beer. Everyone made you feel welcome. Could not have hoped for better.
One of the best Sunday roasts in the area and home made puddings have not tasted better. Staff friendly and engaging
Phoned up for a last-minute booking for seven of us and a dog. Was told to arrive when we can before 6:30pm. The brie and the jalapeƱo starters were lovely, and they accommodated our elderly guest. All meals were delicious. Really enjoyed the Chickpea curry.
We arrived just after opening time 18:00 on a Thursday the pub was filling the restaurant empty. Our reception was friendly warm and welcoming. I had the burger and my wife had the steak. Both a good size plate full beautifully cooked. Service again was friendly and prompt. A great evening. Thankyou.
Nice little watering hole at the heart of a community. Had food, was good. Dogs allowed in bar area. Prices were good value. Good range of beers ciders and all the rest. Staff great, a great example of a community cooperative pub.
