The Salisbury Arms is a charming Grade II listed building situated on Endless Street, a busy spot just five minutes’ walk from the main drag of the city centre. The pubs current concept is specialising in craft beer, cocktails and the BBQ area situated in the quaint courtyard trades speciality burgers very successfully. The Salisbury Arms is decorated to a very high standard with contemporary décor and stylish fixtures and fittings. There is an open plan island bar which has wood panelling, fitted carpet with a quarry tiled walkway and a cosy open fire. There are around 40 covers positioned around the bar area which include stools, booths and traditional tables and chairs. To the rear of the pub is a sheltered courtyard set out with tables, benches, and umbrellas offering seating for 20-30 people.
Wasn't great when we went in. Broken light and hand dryer in the women's loos, outside heater wasn't working, pool table area full of kids and alot of the drinks weren't available as the stock had run out. Barmaid was lovely but I'd expect better from a pub charging £5.60 a pint! There wasn't even blue roll in the loos to dry your hands and it takes two seconds to change a lightbulb. We were going to book in here for the bottomless brunch in January but won't be bothering anymore sadly 😔
Tasty cheap beverages. The barmaid has amazing patience making ridiculous orders of different cocktails! The long island's really tasted like the kindof thing you'd accidentally pick up at a house party and spit out. But in this setting, delightful
A fun friendly pub with live music or karaoke and always lively! Well worth a visit!
I honestly think the coffee martini cocktail was from a can, left in the sun. For 9 pounds it was vile. If I could upload the photo.... Think a flat pepsi that's running low on syrup. How a coffee martini was full of bubbles and translucent... 2 stars because it's provided a lot of entertainment for our group and social media.
Craft Bar made some lovely cocktails for us. Will definitely come again!
