The Royal Oak is a unique grade II listed building with original wood panelling and Vitrolite ceiling. The pub sits in the heart of Columbia road and has been the hub of the community for the last 100 years. We have been looking after it for 15 of those y
On Sunday’s the famous Columbia road flower market is vibrant, bustling, full of characterful street sellers and people alike. We serve classic British food throughout the week and legendary roast dinners on Sundays.

Great place for a chicken Sunday roast. We managed to grab a walk-in table downstairs after the flower market & NYE! It was rammed but had a lively atmosphere. I’d suggest booking upstairs ahead of time if you can, where there’s possibly table service instead of ordering at a busy bar
Roast was really tasty. Ordered the pork and it was so flavoursome. Roast potatoes weren't the best I've had but everything else was good. We asked for extra gravy and it was no problem at all.
Nice pub, really lively, good options for some local brews and friendly staff. It gets pretty busy but a good option for going out on Colombia Road
I went for Sunday roast, Columbia road was bustling with the flower market. So I would definitely recommend booking your table in advance. Service was good, friendly staff. The atmosphere was lovely upstairs, we were lucky to have beautiful sunshine weather beaming through. The food was good, simple trimmings (cabbage, carrots and roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud) served with gravy on the side, but I've given this 3 stars because you only get two incredibly thin slices of beef, and considering the price point I was shocked to see this. Because of this I'm torn whether I would come again. It's such a lovely pub.
A clean simple neighborhood pub offering a selection of keg beers and ciders along with a couple of cask ales for those who enjoy their beer a little warmer. The Royal Oak is a pretty pub on Road. Clothed by wood panelled walls in sumptuous dark mahogany colours it makes a great place to sit and enjoy a beer. There is a small but interesting lunch menu, attractively priced. Also a small suntrap courtyard to the rear of the pub. All well done. I love the art deco lights and the white shiny ceiling.
