Dated and requiring vast investmen needed. Broken radiator. Broken tiles in the shower. Bathroom needs a new door. Bed was strange as one side was higher from one side. The only saving grace was the sea view. Not worth £600
This review is for the pony trekking (Alice) runs with Ellen. Went as family of 4; eldest 70; youngest 7. Very safe, well organised and considered. Pony’s so we’ll cared for and beautifully thought through, Alice was very serene. We borrowed hats and boots. We saw red kites, rode through the river and outstanding nature. Kids left confident and with some great memories! Thank you Alice & team! Really recommend!
This review is for the pony trekking operated by the team behind this hotel (notably Alice). First class from start to finish; my wife & daughters love the experience Alice delivers, outstanding!!
The Lion Royal Hotel has been welcoming visitors since at least the 17th century. This wonderful former coaching inn is full of charm both in terms of the building and the family who run it. The room we stayed in was very nice, the breakfast good and everyone was friendly. The building also features a bar on the CAMRA national inventory of historic pubs so is well worth a visit.
Friendly welcome for bikers & great location for trail riding in this area of Wales. Secure covered lockup for bikes at night & if you need to do any maintenance. Real fire & rustic bar popular with the locals. Drying room to have your kit cosy for the next day out. Big cooked breakfast to set you up for big day out riding. Central location if you want to go out at night to eat, drink or make merry.
