Historic pub in Rochford town centre. It is a corner pub with 1 bar and two rooms split into a public and quieter saloon area. Serves 4 real ales including house beer George's Rochford Crown Ale. Public area has a pool table and in the saloon area darts is avialable. Live music and DJ's some weekends and Shellfish is available Friday through to Sunday in the pub garden from Shellfish John. Monday and Friday club where ales, lagers, ciders and beers are £2.60 a pint between 4 & 8pm.
A nice boozer, friendly staff, and great prices, best in the area, we'll be back.

Another great old pub. The outside doesn't do it justice. Inside is a certain warm welcome from the locals and staff. An abundant array of beers but sadly no real ales on my visit. (I'm pretty certain I was just unlucky on this visit). I'll just have to return.
Great real ale well kept S&P green hopped went down great
