Rocket Ronnie's was established in 2011 on the Isle of Wight, we then expanded to Southampton in May 2018 to the High Street just below the Bargate. Here we boast of 22 English Supreme Winner pool tables 8 stylish grey and silver Blackball tables, the only Chinese pool table on the south coast, a lovey American pool table covered in a powder blue match play cloth and 2 full size snooker tables, a new addition to our venue are 12 dart boards set in their very own room with its own bar and its all set out over 2 floors.
In the way of sports, we show everything shown on TNT Sport and Sky TV have to offer on our 10 55" TV's and a massive 86 inch TV.
We have many leagues, comps and a chat page where you can arrange to meet other like minded people for a drink and a game of pool.
We also sell a full range of cues& cases and also offer a cue re tipping service. Our fully licensed bar offers a massive range of beers, ciders and spirits. There is AIR CONDITIONING throughout the whole venue. There is NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED just turn up and play , under 18's must be accompanied by an adult and must leave by 9pm unless involved in a competition. Decent as always, however do advertise food but have not been doing this the last 2 visits.
It was ok tables not the best cloths well worn so really fast and £12 a hour a bit steep I thought but overall not a bad place and half decent cues
Lots of tables to play on. If you can't play well I recommend you go for PAYG table at £1 a go as it's £12 for an hour otherwise. The food isn't great so wouldn't bother. Chips are microwaved. But good for pool which is what we came here for.
Awful experience in this establishment. Rude staff, over priced and poor hygiene. This review will most likely be responded to rudely. I would never suggest this place and this place should be shut down.
Going there regularly, friendly staffs, you can also drink while playing pool. The Best pool hall in Southampton. Good to book in advance but I always had a table on arrival. Currently £9 per hour per table.
