The Ring O' Bells was extensively refurbished to bring back the character and history of the 14th century inn. It offers modern amenities in a beautiful setting. The Ring O' Bells is situated in the historic village of Wookey near Wells, Somerset.
As well as having a lively pub and restaurant, we will cater of your special occasion. Buffet and party menus available on request.
Our skittle alley is open for league teams or even a friendly family challenge.

We ate here twice while we stayed within walking distance of Wookey We did call and book, I’m pleased we did as it’s not a big pub and they are popular! Quick service, didn’t face to wait too long for our orders, waitresses’ were great
We attended the ring of bells on a Friday night after being recommended it by our hosts at The Old Ford Cottage. It was an excellent recommendation as the food atmosphere and service were great. We had one starter from the main menu, two specials and two desserts. Everything arrived in a timely Was cooked to perfection. I hardly recommend this pub and would definitely go back. This is no slight on the venue as it’s in a tiny village, but you may struggle for parking so get there early or be prepared to hunt for a space 😅
Great value for money, great atmosphere, cosy and warm and full of life. Food was incredible had the pork belly which was crispy and juicy, had enough veg on the plate too!
What a brilliant pub! Loved the meals, great food. Good range of beer and cider including some local Wookey brews. Nice friendly staff too. Highly recommended, we look forward to returning!
Gorgeous Sunday roast. £13'ish with a super generous portion of meat. Roast pots definitely not like at home, but everything else was perfection. Loved the amount of veg we got in hot side dishes - absolutely stuffed us. Cauliflower cheese as a side for free too, gorgeous. Good selection of drinks and the staff were kind and helpful.
