About us

The Red Lion is situated in the centre of the beautiful village of Swaffham Prior, North East of the historical city of Cambridge.

This lovely 17th century pub has all the character you’d expect including golden-hued oak beams, low ceilings, quarry tiled floors and cheerful open fireplace and log burner.

Excellent selection of cask ales and wines.

To the rear of the pub there is car parking along with a delightful large beer garden where the very best of the summer days can be enjoyed.

At proper old pub, with amazing views from the garden at the back. Unusual beers for Cambridge, Batemen brewery. A great pint of Rosey Nosey, and London Pride was drunk while having a meal. Oh and fix a puncture as well.

A gorgeous pub in a small village. Friendly staff and the most beautiful beer garden. Wish I lived closer but well worth a visit if you're in the area.
