Perfectly ok pub. Much better than it was before the refurbishment. I haven't tried the food so cannot comment on that.
Great, modern pub. A happy place to be. We love a pint here after a long day. But we miss your Clwb Tropica! We were it’s biggest fans and this was the only pub that had it for miles! BRING IT BACK PLEASSSEEEE! UPDATE! Our prayers were answered and the lovely people at this establishment bought our fave back. Go visit them!
When they just reopened, the food was brilliant. Way better than just 'pub food'. However, now they're struggling a bit. I/we came back a few times to eat - because I really like the atmosphere - and every time I wished I didn't. It now does what it says on the tin. Good for a beer though!
Local pub serving ,typical pub food while also offering a wide range of beers Has had a resent revamp View sports, play pool/snooker, or darts, relax as you sit out side and watch the world go by. Only down side Hit and miss with the food served cold to luke warm and on the small side especially the mushy peas. Not too bad. The layout is rather comfortable and although the place is reasonably full, the noise isn't excessive. The fish was a little oily for me. Seemed like it was left over from lunchtime.
