We warmly welcome you to the Post Office Tavern.
The Post Office Tavern is an impressive single storey brickwork pub at the top of Westbury Hill in Bristol. The pub was originally a Mail coach house. There is still today an old gaol on the other side of the road where prisoners were held on their way to court, whilst the mail man and his horses had refreshment at the Inn. Post Office memorabilia adorns the pub and we even have an old telephone box.
Both bars are fully air conditioned, has disabled facilities and we also have a small decked smoking area which is heated.

Unplanned visit, and it has been at least 20 years since my last visit. The pub has a genuine feel to it, and the fire was on which was lovely. Such a great layout and style, such as the red telephone box! Well, worth a visit! We won't leave it so long next time!

Wonderful beer, very friendly service, a REAL local pub
Nice local 'proper' pub. Didn't eat, so can't comment. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere
Friendly place and the landlord knows how to keep the customers happy. Always nice to watch the rugby 🏉. Good atmosphere. Big screen. And fair selection of beers
