Enjoy a warm, friendly atmosphere in a real ale pub!
Converting an old farm into a pub normally guarantees that you’ll discover interesting architectural features, cosy spaces, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. You’ll find all that and much more at The Plough in Cramlington Village. In fact, the pub actually comprises the original farmhouse and steading, plus the unusual circular building that was once used to grind corn.
The wine list is fantastic, and the real ale selection is even better. Just as importantly, the staff offer a great welcome, and you can choose to join in the lively atmosphere at the bar, enjoy a more sedate pace in the lounge, or make the most of the weather in the large beer garden.
It’s certainly one of Cramlington’s most popular pubs, and once you’ve visited, it’s easy to see why.

First time l have been here for many years ,they don't serve food so no stars . A bit shabby , toilets could do with a make over . Like many pubs these days not especially warm . Good selection of beers and ciders..
Great service , some good real ales and ciders to try , dogs are very welcome here inside and out they have big beer garden during the summer the dogs and kids can get a good run around water bowls for dogs are provided . Children till 9 . Negative Toilets are tired ,seats need tightening and tiles need replacing goodness the carpet around the Bandits is so dirty it shines . The front door is locked, so the side entrance past the GinGan or the bar entrance is the way in . We thought it was closed. Maybe a sign on the main door would help. There is a bar area , a smaller beer garden outside , sports shown bar games .No children allowed in bar area access and egress only . So it's a canny place , staff are lovely and the beers great, delicious pork scratchings. Oh, and the background music is just that, so you can chat away without shouting .
Just popped in for a pint while walking a friends two dogs . Pub busy as it was a sunny, warm evening. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Large outside area with lots of picnic style tables .
Thank you for providing the upstairs room for my Fathers wake. Paula provided a very efficient bar service, which was enhanced by her friendly personality. She also helped me to rearrange the room to my personal specifications to suit whilst assisting with everything we required throughout the event. Highly recommended. Kindest regards Robin
Great beer, our 4 legged friends made welcome, great staff what's not to like.
