We would like to welcome you to Chesterfields newest pub and kitchen.
Formerly known as The White Swan, The Pig and Pump is a traditional pub serving a large range of real ales, traditional ciders, a craft offering and home cooked locally sourced food. Our menu will be complemented by ever-changing bar snacks, quality wine and stand out spirits. We will be showcasing live bands from around the country every Saturday night, bringing the town centre something slightly different.
Real ale is at the forefront of our concept, every effort will be made to join in the towns pedigree of excellent beer festivals, meet the brewer evenings and brewery tours, plus strong relationships with the local CAMRA groups. Our home cooked local menu will be served every day, appealing to all ages and dietary requirements, including lovely coffees and cake. Dogs will be welcome, the dog bar will be outside on the terrace.
My favourite place for food in Chesterfield, the staff are so friendly and the food is always amazing. Would definitely recommend!!
Great pub with tasty tapas and burgers! We love a Tuesday’s quiz there too, fantastic atmosphere.
The food is excellent value for the quality, and the selection of drinks is great. I fully recommend the burgers, which I think are the best around! Visited multiple times and never fails to disappoint.
Stopped for a quick lunch & a drink, we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and the portion was huge. I had a pork cob which came with a slab of stuffing, a pot of apple sauce, a generous portion of home cooked chips and 3 big slices of pork on the cob. My partner had the fish finger ciabatta which was huge. It came with mushy peas and home cooked chips. We both struggled to finish our food. There were plenty of cask ales to choose from and lots of spirits too. It was busy but still plenty of tables to choose from and the atmosphere was good for a Saturday lunch time. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
Really enjoyed my visit to the pig and pump. Ticked all the boxes for me, great beer, selection of real ales with excellent value food. We ordered the burger sharer, 2 burgers, fries, coleslaw and onion rings £22, this was superb. Service was quick, efficient and friendly.
