An absolute local treasure. You need to brace yourself before you go in - this is not a pub in the usual sense. Much more like sitting in someone’s kitchen - mismatched tables and chairs abound. But the beers are top notch, the barman helpful and knowledgeable, and the prices very reasonable for an excellent independent brew.
As always an excellent spot for unique and first rate beers from this microbrewery. Always rotating, the Mild this week was particularly good.
Lovely beer selection! The best option for someone who seeks a flavourful pint.
Quirky local microbrewery in an old shopfront with mismatched furniture and an incredible choice of high quality house brewed beer and many guest ciders, as well as wines for the uninitiated. A really special place
So popped in for a pint as I saw on Facebook that they brew there own beer and was pleased to say it was great. The beer is lovely and my server knew his stuff and price wise thought £4.60 was fine. Nice beer great attitude. They also do takeaways in various sizes so that’s a bonus. Happy to recommend
