We have been awarded the Cask Marque Certificate for our excellence in the keeping of our Real Ales. Come and join us for a drink in our ever popular Locals Bar that also has a Pool Table.
Our Restaurant provides an extensive Menu with lots of 2-4-1 Special Offers. There is a daily Specials Board where you will find some more exciting and tasty dishes to choose from. Our Sunday Menu is served All Day from 12 Noon with many other choices including our ever popular Carvery. We endeavour to accommodate for dietary requirements, just speak to a member of staff if you are not sure.
A huge Car Park, stunning BEER GARDEN with plenty of seating and the River Otter which runs alongside the garden. A really relaxing place to be and popular with walkers. A large CHILDREN’S PLAY AREA for families to enjoy.
DOGS INSIDE: We have limited Dog Friendly tables inside and so it is essential you book. DOGS OUTSIDE: Dogs are welcome but MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL. TIMES. Any little accidents must be picked up and disposed of properly. We love dogs and children and the garden is for everyone’s enjoyment. Thank you for your understanding. We just ask that each dog brings a well behaved owner kept on a lead at all times!.

Went for Sunday roast. It was amazing. Great choice of meat and vegetables, very friendly chef, thoroughly enjoyed it. The children had other things off the menu which they really enjoyed too. The standard was 5 star
Lucky to have our Christmas Day lunch here yesterday and it was fabulous. Mandy and here team were wonderful, attentive and looked after us all day. The food was great, well cooked, seasoned and all 3 courses were great, especially the desserts which were unreal. Overall fantastic Christmas Lunch and we didn't have to do any dishes! :)
We meet some friends for an annual Christmas lunch and were not disappointed. We all had the turkey dinner apart from my husband, who had the pheasant, and we were all very happy with our food and the service. The staff were very accommodating for our children, offering an option of garlic bread instead of soup, which our kids were very happy about. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food delicious - best roast turkey I've ever had. The brownie for dessert was excellent as well. The price was excellent considering how good everything was. Thanks for a great experience. We'll definitely come back again next year.
Staying just up the road in a cottage had lunch there one day and an evening meal on another great place 😋 👍
Pub has a large beer garden next a river which is great for dogs, unfortunately the beer garden is full of wasps, we were even warned about them by a member of staff. Ate indoors, service was fine but food very poor quality. £15 for a cheap frozen pizza. Had burgers here before which were equally mediocre. Very disappointing and won't be coming again. The owners could make big improvements by changing the menu and doing something about the wasps.
