The pub is not like it used to be, huge TV screen, blasting at Sports programs with loud volume. People coming in for nice drink and the chat don't want to listen to that rubbish it wouldn't be so bad if the volume was turned off. Sorted or lose your business๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
A pub that does what a pub should do, Friendly staff who are really welcoming and the food is good. Also if you have a motorhome you can stay overnight for a very reasonable rate and it's a short walk from the pub to Stratford town centre. Will happily return and also recommend the pub to others.
Very pleasant pub. Clean and tidy all round and very good quality real ale. The Butty Bach from Wye Valley Brewery was on top form. The manager is proud to serve well conditioned ale. All in all itโs a highly recommended pub. Well done ๐
Thank you to Ed and Emily at The old Tramway for looking after us! I recently had a birthday get together for around 60 at the pub for my 40th birthday and it was such a great day/evening! Ed and Emily were so welcoming and accommodating , giving us as much space as we needed and allowing us and helping us to decorate how we wanted. There was plenty of food which came out throughout the day and evening and the stone baked pizza was delicious!!! We were well looked after from start to finish and everyone had a fantastic time! We will definitely bring family and friends again for special occasions!
Excellent place. We were a party of 12 including 5 kids. We booked in advance. The pub is nice inside + they have a covered patio area and a beer garden with lots of space for kids to run around. Our party of 12 had the entire covered patio area to ourselves, so it was perfect (see pic). Like many pubs this pub is struggling to get enough staff but I have to say we found the service to be flawless, the staff worked so hard to look after us. We ordered lots of food and many drinks and it was all flawless. The food is not gourmet, it's basic pub food, but everything we ordered was fine, and overall we had a fantastic day. BTW they have quite a few vegetarian and vegan options.
