First time I have been in a while brought my kids for tea whilst I was waiting for my mot. Service was absolutely outstanding Charlotte was my server and she was so polite and very attentive despite being rushed off her feet. Food came out super quick and was beautiful. The five pound meals were excellent value for money and I will definately be back again.
I was welcomed by Kelsea one of the severs feeling very welcomed. I was then greeted by Debbie who told me I was able to have anything from the Continental overall it was a great experience and a hearty breakfast. I’ll definitely be here again and would recommend if you’re looking to fill your belly.
Attended the old rectory today 20th January 2024. Was greeted and served by Kane Who was very smiley. Food came quickly and was very tasty. The kitchen/assistant manager David was interactive with our children and happy to help with what we needed. A very happy visit for all x Thank you. The shepherd and barber family.
The staff seem more stressed, and confused than friendly or affable here which can put a damper on things but it’s okay …. When I last had food here two years ago it wasn’t very good at all — but hopefully I can try it again to change my mind It’s also in something of an awkward location so unless you live nearby it isn’t somewhere that you’d go out of your way for, typically
Apart from free parking, and they have, up to a point, this place has everything you could want, from a pub, when you are about halfway through a boy's weekend away. Great beer, which goes to show that Greene King can do it, great location, lovely quirky building, wish we didn't have to leave so soon, to go to the football!
