Invited to a family celebration. The upstairs room was bright and airy. The food was well cooked and plentiful.. on hot plates too.. Always a good sign. The staff worked seamlessly. A very enjoyable evg and will definitely recommend booking for an occasion
A festive lunch, great venue for a big group. Loads of parking, plenty of staff behind bar and a really spacious venue. Food good and service excellent - again plenty of staff to get food to table for all in double quick time.
We came down today for lunch on the off chance as we were popping down to Penzance. We were really glad we did. We had the sirloin steak and a chicken burger and it was beautiful. We also want to say how amazing the service was by every member of staff. We will definitely look forward to coming back.
We hired their upstairs function room for a family 90th birthday party. From the first email to the last glass of fizz, Trevor and his team were amazing. Every detail carefully considered. Lovely food, helpful smiling staff, great facilities and everywhere spotlessly clean made our party a truly memorable event. The Old Quay House is located just off the A30bypass at the end of the Hayle Estuary which is easy access with lots of parking. Would highly recommend. Thanks again Trevor, Margaret and team!

Welcome to our unique pub and restaurant located in an 18th century watermill, and situated in extensive natural gardens.

Our wonderful pub was given its present name in 1975. Previously known as the The New Inn, Praed's Arms, then The Lelant Arms (1899-1975), it was considerably extended and modernised in 1900, becoming the building we know today.
