300 year old pub. The recent remodel is lovely. Nice to sit near the fireplace after a walk on Hampstead Heath.
The pub has a fancy feel to it. Very spacious. Good variety of drink.
The Old Ball and Bush in Hampstead captivates with its beautiful and cozy decor, setting the stage for an exceptional pub experience. The staff's warmth and attentiveness enhance the atmosphere, making it a welcoming haven. The delicious British classics on the menu are expertly prepared, adding to the overall delight. Special mention goes to the kind and loving manager, Kamil, whose presence adds a personal touch, making this pub a standout destination. Highly recommended for a delightful and memorable outing.
Very cozy restaurant. Our server was amazing, she made us feel welcome and definitely put a smile on our faces. We all had the same dish, roast sirloin of beef followed by berries meringue for desert. Certainly, coming back for more.
The Old Bull & Bush in Hampstead is an absolute delight! My partner and I decided to make the short drive down from Watford via the M1, which took only 20 minutes, making it wonderfully accessible. Upon arriving, it was evident that the recent refurbishment had made a significant impact. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by an inviting atmosphere, and the restaurant section exuded a chic, modern ambiance. We opted to dine in the bar area as this charming pub is pet-friendly, and we had our beloved dog with us. Now, let's talk about the food. I had the pleasure of trying their fillet steak, and it was nothing short of perfection. Cooked to my exact preference, it was tender, flavourful, and paired with a the beef dripping sauce. Cocktails made to a really high standard too! The service was impeccable, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We also appreciated the convenient location, situated near the beautiful Hampstead Heath, making it an ideal spot for a post-meal stroll. In summary, The Old Bull & Bush exceeded our expectations in every way. We look forward to returning for another delightful dining experience."
