A good old friendly drinking pub. You want food? Have some crisps, Full of characters and stories. Owner is hilarious. And dog friendly too. A winner 🏆
Excellent room hire. Good location, clean room, comfy bed, lots of tea and coffee, good shower, soft towels, warm room in winter. The host was friendly and prices very reasonable. Pub customers can be heard until late and might disturb light sleepers. I would still recommend to others.
Stayed here for over 2 weeks while I was working in Swindon. First room I had was an old hay loft conversion, it was a lovely room and very quiet as inbetween garden and car park. Second week was a couple of doors towards the pub and I might as well have shared a room with either side, couldn't sleep well all that week. Considering it is a real ale pub and I love real ale, after 13 nights 2 to go I left after only having had 2 pints in nearly 3 weeks very rude and aggressive landlady letting the side down
