Our specialty is top-quality steak grilled to perfection, but we also serve traditional pub classics, light bites and a range of drinks for every occasion. Whether you’re joining us for a family lunch, a romantic dinner or a quiet bite by yourself, we’re here to make your meal out the best it can be.

Our team

We’re so lucky to have such an experienced team, some of our team members have been with us for over 25 years! We mix that experience with the energy of our new starters to make a team that works well together, and really cares about serving the best meals for you every time.

With the help of our brilliant guests we raise over £2000 for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital every year. We also sponsor our local football team and donate to charities in Fareham.

Our location

We’re based in a grand, Georgian style building just off the A27 on the edge of Fareham. There’s a lot of history to the Oast and Squire, it’s a really charming, unique building and our guests love it!

Our restaurant is split into a 200-seater dining area and 100-seater bar area. Our dining area has a great mix of quiet booths, big family tables, a large function area and plenty of space. Our bar area is made up of a long galley area that’s perfect for enjoying a drink or two in a comfy setting.

We also have a brilliant outdoor space, with decking, covered benches and space for kids to run around in. Plus, we have a large car park with lots of spaces.

Make sure to take a look at our offers page for all our latest deals and promotions.

An evening meal with the family 8. Service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive and fun. We had quite a mix from the menu and on the whole it was very good value for money

Tbh. I love it here. And the disabled toilet. It was very clean. Good for babies with the changing table and nappy bin. Overall Toilets 10/10 Food 3/10 (was the choice of food, I’ll pick differently next time) Service 5/10 (can be friendly but were tired when we got there. They rolled their eyes at us multiple times) I’d love to go again.

Good food and gluten free options. The evening was spoilt by the Oast & Squire restaurant interpretation of the Beefeater offer "Kids Eat Free" to mean "1 child eats free" no matter how many adults pay full price. Took my complaint to head office and they told me it was down to the site manager. Other local Beefeaters allow 1 adult + 2 kids eat free. It was only £5 but the restaurant and head office wouldn't budge. Felt cheated after the email stated "Kids eat free". Shame a the staff were lovely and the food was pretty good.
