Service was first class. Excellent real ale. Pub, toilets and beer garden immaculate. Overall a very good traditional village pub.

A fantastic pub. Great choice of beer, perfectly kept and beautifully presented as well as being nicely priced. This now my go to pub when visiting the area.
This is seriously one of the best pubs in Wakefield. I've been coming here for years and it's still brilliant. The service is outstanding, especially from Sally, the manageress who has turned this place into a real community kind of place. It's being 2 years since I last went there and it's still amazing. Pool table, sports on screens, live music,dj's,dogs allowed, friendly atmosphere and service, good drinks, just a generally brilliant place.Cheers Sally,for keeping this a place still with visiting 🤗 p.s.i took the photos at opening time hence why it looks quiet, but trust me when I say it gets busy.
