Sport has been played on this site for nearly 100 years, New Earswick Sports and Social Club has facilities for Cricket, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football and Tennis and has a wide variety of adult and junior sides playing regularly in organised leagues.
In 2020 the venue has been subjected to a major refurbishment. It is open to sporting and social members and we have two rooms which are available for private hire for parties, training or business purposes.

We attended an event here and had the best time! Lisa and Ashleigh provided such a good atmosphere while serving drinks and singing along. Would recommend!
We go to new earswick sports club regular for many of the amazing events this club hosts. Everyone is made to feel welcome by the friendly bar staff that will always go the extra mile to ensure your needs are catered for. The New Earswick Sports Club hosted my husbands 30th party. Lisa the manager and Ashleigh were fantastic throughout the whole process. We had a fantastic night. Thank you. Would recommend.
Had a lovely Sunday afternoon at New Earswick Sports Club with my 3 year old son. The club had two free bouncing castles outside and when it began to rain heavily there was a family friendly childrens disco inside with party food. The bar staff were very patient and kind with the children. The club itself has improved immensely since my last visit to the club in 2022. I will definitely return with my family.
I came here for my goddaughter birthday last weekend and I can honestly say it was the most unfriendliest pace I have ever been, the bar staff were drinking shots and not friendly at all apart from one of the women making unwanted advances on my goddaughter s husband! People who were not invited were let in and was eating our food, not on! This was a family party and no-one was drunk or misbehaving, that includes the children who were there. Apparently the toilets were a mess( no they weren't and they shut us down an hour early with no warning or explanation and now they have withheld half of the deposit paid and more or less called her and her mum liars for complaining about this. Talk about closing ranks! I am absolutely disgusted and fuming!!!
