Great Alvaston Pub which was lovely and warm on a Cold January day..Good choice of Both Hand pulled Beers and Lagers..with friendly staff and clientele
My first visit wed afternoon. Jane was on duty first then Emma took over later. I thought the ambience was nice and it was warm. . But the young ladies were very welcoming and polite. The service was excellent and they cleaned and cleared the tables straight away. The landlord was on holiday, but his pub was certainly left in safe hands. Thank you girls for making my first visit so memorable I will certainly be calling in again. A very satisfied customer.
Absolutely loved me taking the dog in. Really dog friendly. Nice draught beer as well.
Our 1st visit went to watch the womens England match with my daughters football team. The initial welcoming was cold from the landlord to my husband. Seeing the girls arrive, he demanded if they were buying drinks, but when I arrived, I felt it was a welcoming and friendly pub and would look to go again. It has a traditional feel while being modern and fresh in its decor. They did coffee too, which is great, it's pods so quite weak and sweet, not to everyone's taste.
