Stunning riverside pub near Vauxhall & Pimlico stations. Next to Tate Britain and a stroll from Milbank Tower. Check out our upstairs lounge 'The Spying Room'.
One of the few remaining traditional British pubs left in London (and we intend to stay that way), the Morpeth Arms is a pub built in 1845 on the site of the original prison cells of Millbank Penitentiary, which is now home to the art museum Tate Britain.
The Morpeth Arms is part of a great line up of buildings along historic Millbank in Westminster, neighbouring Millbank Tower, Thames House and directly opposite MI6.
The pub is rumoured to be haunted by prisoners and prison staff from the Penitentiary. Pop in and see if you can see the ghost on our live CCTV feed of our spooky cellar!.

Nice pub in good location near river and Tate Britain. Often busy, outside tables good in warm weather.
This area is completely bereft of places to eat and drink but the Morpeth Arms is a welcome exception. Been coming here occasionally since the 90s Pretty standard Young's pub, but pretty light and spacious and recommended
What a great place for a party! Beautiful, atmospheric private upstairs room with a bar. The party food was made with care and provided great value for money, whilst the staff couldn't have been more helpful and efficient - and great fun on the night too! Thank you for helping to make our Christmas party such a success.
Lovely little gem in the middle of London. Very helpful staff! Nice venue room. Food was good value for money.
Decent Young's pub on Millbank close to Tate Britain. Three cask beers on handpump when I last visited but, oddly, there was no Young's beer available!). Lots of outdoor seating - some of it covered - to view the MI6 building across the Thames.
