Great pub with a friendly atmosphere and excellent beer. The landlord was a top bloke and came out to wave our bus party off. Looking forward to going back.
Xmas day drinks. Good atmosphere and great beer. Wine less so but staff were very understanding. We'll be back.

As an occasional visitor and, worse, a Southerner, I would sell my house and my soul to make this place my local. Great range of fantastic beer, welcoming staff and welcoming atmosphere. Pretty much the perfect pub.
When it comes to cider and perry, it has no rivals anywhere nearby. You'd struggle to find anywhere in a 50-mile radius that regularly has more than five ciders on.
