Although it's on top of a hill, Ketley Bank, some find this pub a little difficult to find first time, but worth a look. There have been licenced premises on the site since 1826.
Basically a two roomed pub with outside areas front and back and a particular sun trap of a conservatory on the front. Very much a local's pub serving two hand pulls with well presented beers and bar snacks such as pork pies and scotch eggs. There is a popular quiz on alternate Wednesdays at 9pm.
Old fashioned traditional pub. Very welcoming. They don't do food.
Extremely friendly and welcoming.
Great location and atmosphere landlord Bob is a perfect host. Good ale and delicious home made pork pie 🥧
Lovely warm welcome after a long walk. Don't serve food so land lord, rang the Indian for us to order. Lovely evening, good humour good takeaway & a good drink. What more can I ask for after a long walk.
