Stayed at this hotel for a month whilst working away. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The staff are of top quality, customer service goes a long way in my books. I love that it continues to be family owned and operated. The hotel is what I feel to have a classic English spark to it. Room was cleaned to a high standard daily. The garden at the back is devine and the perfect area to spend some time reading.
Met friends for Christmas meal, staff very attentive. Good wholesome food, well presented, amazing atmosphere.
It is quite the lovely resort. However, I do get quite an eerie feeling surrounding this place. Also, many old people. Take that as you wish, my loves!
Haven't stayed there, but we often go there for the jacket potatoes. They are really big and tasty. We've only one been on a Sunday, a special occasion and the vegetarian Sunday lunch was very nice indeed.
Attended a wedding reception here yesterday and could not beat the service here. It was a sunny day and the gardens were beautiful. Special mention to one of the waitresses who helped me during an episode of dehydration- she really came to my rescue! A lovely afternoon spent here for a party of 17, including my one year old daughter who was catered for just as well. Thanks to the staff here 😁
