The Laurie Arms is a family-run pub and restaurant with excellent local food in the scenic village.
Great little traditional pub, dog friendly with very friendly staff. The food was good and we even had a game of pool for 50p
4 went for a meal Saturday Eve, was very busy, but a cheerful bunch in, friendly helpful polite owner and staff. Reasonable prices and very good quality food, definitely will be back, highly recommended.
First time experiencing the dinner menu at Laurie Arms and we were pleasantly impressed with the quality, quantity and price. The quality of the food was superb with sufficient quantity to fill very hungry folks. Prices are reasonable for the quality and generous portions. Then moved over to the pub for the rugby. It’s not overcrowded and the atmosphere is great. The on-tap ginger beer is the best I have ever had. They change the beer options too so there is always something new to try. Great place, and we will become regulars at this place.
Staying nearby on holiday, called in for dinner our first night in the area, bar full but welcomed in dining room. Service and food excellent, so much so we have been back twice since our first visit. Beer selection good and varied to suit all tastes.
Myself and my son walked to Laurie arms from where we parked on a camp site very friendly staff and the food was amazing and the owner Suzanne kindly gave us a lift home which was great as it was a 2 mile walk could not be happier with the drink food and kindness of all the staff will definitely call again when we're back over
