We arrived after a long day of driving, and were told that since we were not resident locals we would not be served dinner in their restaurant. There are no other restaurants within 20 minutes and the place was mostly empty. Unbelievable. The staff didn’t care and walked off. How can a place like this stay in business as an Inn?! Beware
The people that work at this place offer some of the best customer service I've ever seen in hospitality. They are all so warm and welcoming and try their best to accommodate everyone even when things got busy. The food was exceptional too and just what I needed after a big day in the hills. They even helped arrange a lift for me to my campsite that was much appreciated and saved me a 45 minute walk in the rain . Thanks everyone 🙌
Wonderful rooms with a lovely view. Had dinner in the pub and was frankly shocked at the quality of the food. We had been in Scotland for about a week and had eaten at a variety of places all up and down the price scale. The fish and chips were fried with a perfecton rarely seen. Light and crispy without being oily. By far the best I have had, maybe ever. We then split one of the special deserts. Caramelize honey brittle cheesecake. It was light and fluffy, and the brittle toping was beyond my ability to describe. My sister studied pastry at the Cordonblu in London, and the quality of this dessert reminded me of her work. I could not recommend the rooms or the food any more strongly.
This hotel is amazing! The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. It is set on the beautiful Loch with a large yard to enjoy the view. The staff is so friendly and ready to see to every need. It's only and hour drive to most of Skyes biggest sights. We would totally stay again if we come back.
A fabulous hotel with exceptional views. We stayed two nights, our room was luxurious, lovely window seat to look out over the Loch. Great tea/coffee/snacks selection. A big bathroom with fluffy towels. Bar and restaurant have a welcoming feel, the staff were friendly, the locals were lovely to chat to. Dinner was excellent 🍽 a small menu with home cooked, fresh food, the smoked haddock gratin was the best!!! Breakfast was superb, can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs 🥚 😋 Perfect.
