Warm and friendly community owned pub. Good food and good beer!
Great food, friendly staff and efficient service, very good value for money. We don't eat out very often and normally end up disappointed but certainly not this time. Will definitely be returning.
Delightful country pub experience! The inviting ambiance and affable staff create a perfect backdrop for a culinary delight. The menu offers not only mouthwatering classics but also featured a festive selection. Our freshly prepared dishes, served piping hot despite our large party, showcased the kitchen's efficiency. Accommodating and gracious, they seamlessly incorporated our supplied birthday cake. A flawless fusion of comfort and flavour, making this gem an absolute must-visit!
Oh my goodnesssss! The food was absolutely delicious and at such a great price. The fish trio starter specifically was just so yum. As was the firecracker chicken.. So tender! The staff were very friendly and efficient. Car park was rammed but there are a lot spaces. Was loud, but we're okay with that kind of atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.. I want to try everything on the menu!
Have now eaten at this lovely country pub 3 times and all have been very good. The first time we stopped on a bike ride needing water for our dog (she rides on the bike with us!) and started talking to a couple outside who said how good the sea bass was, so we ended up trying it ourselves and agree it was very good! Since then we have been back twice more, with additional family members and every time food has been good with huge portions. We made the mistake of ordering a starter one time - which was also huge and couldn’t then eat half the main! Well priced and good home cooked food.
