It's worth a visit just for the beer garden, making it an ideal spot for enjoying a drink while watching the sunset. While I haven't had the opportunity to stay here and comment on the rooms, I can attest to the great service.
Very expensive but perfect view. This is 2 sharing boards for 4 people all put on to one board costing £32. Great for afternoon drink but food is costly.
We stayed there at the weekend for 2 nights. Have always had our room serviced , whenever we have stayed in hotels. Came back the second day. Room was not serviced, when I asked, had some fumble excuse about towel washing ? Or I could ask for a service .Could have done without the towels, but had to ask for tea, coffee etc. Not great for the price.
Clean room Could do with two hooks on the room door to hang wet jackets. Very limited wardrobe space, more hangers would be good, 2 a little scant. WC so close to wall, a bit uncomfortable. The view from the beer garden was stunning.
My friends and I turned up with no booking and were very quickly served some very tasty food. The bartender was fantastic and very helpful. We sat outside on the patio at the back, overlooking the beautiful countryside, and everyone agreed how lovely it was. Many thanks and we look forward to returning.
