Couldn't fault the food it was great but the place wasn't very disabled friendly too many steps in it but lovely hotel
Food and service exceptional. Decent prices. Beautiful setting. Highly recommend.
Had lunch there today (28 Sept 2023) - couldn't fault it. Meals freshly cooked, hot and great value for money. Young lad who served us very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend.
There were four of us booked for a evening meal. After entry and seated the waitresses took our drinks order followed shortly with the main meal order too. They didn't take long in serving us, and the meals were delicious and piping hot. We have no real gripes as the whole visit was excellent. The only small niggle was the tables were a tad small but we just got on with it, and we will be back in the near future. For the record we are motorhome visitors, and it proves we do use the local amenities, as sometimes we are accused of not using the local shops etc.
A delicious menu and upmarket scottish decor. Try the beef stroganoff or local fish! On top of the wonderful food, the staff were super helpful to my very elderly family, to the extent they let us in through the kitchen door to avoid the two steps at the front door. Staff kindly seated us in a quiet area of the dining room and turned the music to something suitable. The kitchen was immaculate BTW! Excellent. Will be back with younger family too!
