A Georgian Inn that's been in the same family hands of Howard and Marjorie Davies and managed by their son Nic for the last 4 decades.
The Kings Arms was certainly re-roofed in the reign of George III, sometimes referred to the era of 'The Madness of King George' a problem little understood in 1788. Ten years after mental illness forced him to retire from public life, King George III, the British king who lost the American colonies, dies at the age of 82.
We'd described us as a 'classic pub' . . . in the sense we've kept it a bit like a time capsule . . . not painted in 'Farrow & Ball' paints throughout! . . . but to conserve and embrace the patina of time it's endured through the last few centuries or more, that is still as attractive for an Inn of such resplendence as ours. This is 'our local' which we'd love to share with you . . . with honest food, good wines, local beers and comfy beds if you so desire . . . we welcome you to our home and proud to be Norfolk & Good!.

Perfect from cold walks . With great ales and food and spoke to the landlady who has had the pub for over 48 years. This is a good sign!
We nipped in for a beer and a bite to eat. Really nice experience - lovely location, great quirky building. The staff team were excellent and the food top notch. Perfect place to visit after a good long dog walk. Recommended.
Didn't stay the night but popped in at lunchtime for a spot of lunch with the family. First impressions were good and the welcome from the staff was both warming and genuine. I ordered a prawn baguette, the others, fish and chips, the one thing in common was everyone enjoyed their food. Prices on the menu as per 21/9/2023. We're going back to blakeney and won't hesitate to call in. Good choice of beers
Lovely old fashioned pub, seemed popular as very busy. Our first visit to Blakeney. Sat outside as had dogs and nice day. Bar man was very friendly. Food was good, delicious chips!! Overall a pleasant visit and would return.
Lovely proper pub. Dogs welcome (lots of water bowls laid out). Guinness cold and well kept. Fish and chip lunches are excellent. Good seating inside and outside. No parking so use the National Trust car park by the water’s edge of the (free) parking by the main road before you turn into the village ( at the village hall).
