Went for a works Christmas dinner. Food was so poor, most of us didn't eat much. we had a long wait between main and pudding, and the food didn't come together, so some had almost finished before other started. They served food containing to nuts to a colleague with a nut allergy, they were aware 2 of the party had nut allergies. The manager begrudgingly gave us free bottle wine! She unfortunately has lacks skills in dealing with complaints effectively. It was really, really quiet in there on a Friday night before Christmas.. I wonder why! chap behind the bar and the waiter did their best. We wont be going back!
Wanted a room and a shower for 1 night. £67...Not bad. Didn't get a shower as it's a dribble one. Ran a bath at full dribble for 40 minutes to get 6 inches of hot water . Toilet had a number 2 waiting. One flush and gone, but really? Bed comfortable. Room old. Carpet gripper with spikes on bathroom threshold. Needs updating and a deep clean. Alright for a night I guess but I'll not be back.
Booked here for 1 night as we were going to the shopping centre nearby. The staff were very chatty and friendly. Our room was big with clean towels, bedding and tea and coffee making facilities. Large carpark. You need to enter your registration at the bar. It’s a very old building so small corridors and some quirkiness about it. We paid extra for breakfast which was very nice. All in all we would happily stay here again.
A lovely stay this weekend. We booked this weekend last minute, when we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome. The 2 ladies on reception (very bad with names I have forgotten them already 🤦🏽♀️), we’re so lovely and down to earth! Myself and my partner had a good chin wag with them over the course of the evening and what lovely down to earth humans they are! The rooms are dated however, they are still extremely spacious, comfy bed, very clean. Any issues are resolved straight away. We had breakfast in the morning, full English. The BEST breakfast we had both had in a very long time!! Perfect location, although it has bars, restaurants, take aways, burger vans outside, you do not hear any of the noise! If anyone is looking for a place to stay in Bicester, you need to stay here! 10/10! The 2 ladies that welcomed us were working again in the morning and they were just as bubbly, welcoming and down to earth then. They really made our stay so lovely! Thank you to you both x
Amazing stay at The Kings Arms Hotel. The room was super clean and spacious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Quick to help when we had any issues. Many thanks to everyone there and Stacey, who was very helpful and nice to us while we stayed.
